I was a pupil with at djda for well over 10 years and had the time of my life! I learnt so much about dance and learnt all different styles. The classes were fun, friendly and a welcoming environment and it became a second home. You couldn’t wish for a better teacher than Debbie with her kindness and patience she will find all different techniques to suit different people and make it fun. I loved the shows and my mum has memories she will cherish forever watching me perform. Debbie has passed a love of dancing into me which will stay with me forever (as well as some of the routines!) and I just hope one day she will teach my children to dance.

Debbie started teaching me to dance at 10 and I only left the school at 22 due to other commitments (or I’d probably still be there now!!) Debbie is an exceptional teacher – she gives you so much encouragement regardless of ability and knows how to get the best out of her students, as well as making the Debbie Jay Dance Academy a fun and exciting place to learn dance and build your confidence. In addition to this, her exam results are fantastic. It really is a wonderful school.

The time and commitment Debbie puts into each and every pupil, organising shows and preparing for exams is commendable! My daughter really enjoys attending DJDA. The emphasis is on fostering a real, genuine love of dancing, allowing each child to grow and explore this in their own way and at their own pace. Excellent!
